Ken Waite Field

Aberdeen Washington

Former secondary home of the Gray's Harbor Ports
Loggers & Gulls
This quaint little wooden ballpark was once a secondary home to the various Grays Harbor teams that played Single-A and Independent baseball throughout the 70's and again in the 90's. Hoquiam's Olympic Stadium was the actual home ballpark of all of these teams, and it was also a wooden facility. However Ken Waite Field seats about 500 while Olympic Stadium seats about 9000. All of the teams ran under the location of "Gray's Harbor" instead of "Hoquiam" because Aberdeen and Hoquiam are sister cities that sort of melt into each other, with Aberdeen actually being the larger town in comparison. Hoquiam however is where the main larger ballpark was built so that's where most of the games took place.
