In the shadows of the massive 92,000 seat Tiger Football Stadium on the grounds of
Lousiana State University's campus, stands historic Alex Box Stadium... a WPA
Project built in 1938. It has been the home of the LSU Tigers from 1937 till 2007
when it was taken out of commission for a brand new ballpark on the LSU grounds.
