Jerry Reinsdorf's Chicago White Sox was one of those teams that the Triple-A Buffalo
Bisons had outdrawn in 1989 as the Bisons drew 1.1 million fans and the White
Sox just barely pulled in 1 million fans for the season. Reinsdorf was angry
but even more so... he wanted the people who built a Minor League stadium that
great that they could outdraw a Major League team from Chicago. |
