In 1991, the new stadium was completed. The White Sox were ushered into Comiskey
Park II, which would soon be renamed U.S. Cellular Field. While "U.S. Cellular
Field" was the horrible epitomy of commercial naming rights gone wrong, the loss
of the name Comiskey Park was just fine. This was definately not the same ballpark
as its predecessor, nor should it be remembered as such. |
