The Chicago White Sox used this ballpark for 10 years from 1901 until June 27th 1910,
when a new ballpark was built for the White Sox... Comiskey Park (aka White
Sox Park). Comiskey Park was much stronger than South Side Park's wooden infrastructure
as it was made of steel and concrete. Comiskey would host the White
Sox for 80 years, until 1990. |
