In 1941, Ted Williams would achieve a goal, that no hitter has since been able to accomplish. The 37 HRs he would hit that year were just an after thought in comparison. Just 3 seasons into his young career, Ted Williams would hit .406. No one has reached the elusive .400 mark since.
