Privateer Park was an aluminum stadium located on the grounds of the University of
New Orleans. It had been home to the UNO Privateers NCAA team since it opened
in 1979. It was in the spotlight for 4 years when Triple-A baseball moved this
stadium in 1993, while awaiting the creation of Zephyr Field in Metairie Louisiana. |
