The 20k drop in attendance sent the Giants packing to Muskogee Oklahoma's Athletic Park in 1951. The team wouldn't be able to find a new affiliate for the 51 season and spent the season playing as a co-op team, and renamed themselves the Enid Buffaloes. They weren't very good finishing the year in 7th place with a 45-79 record (.363), 32 games out of 1st. Only 39,000 came to see the team play, last in the league (but consistant with the year before).
