Foster Field was built in 2000 for $3 million dollars by the Angelo State University
Rams Baseball Program... an NCAA Division II collegiate team which plays in
the Lone Star Conference with Cameron, Eastern New Mexico, Tarleton State, Texas
A&M Kingsville and West Texas A&M. Texas-Permian Basin is expected to join as
well. The ballpark was built by the former head groundskeeper for the Texas Rangers'
Ballpark @ Arlington, Jim Angela... who also designed the United League's
LaGrave Field II for the Fort Worth Cats. |
