Configurations of this type are found all over the U.S., especially in older and WPA parks such as Watertown Stadium in Watertown South Dakota, Breese Field in Madison Wisconsin, Bradner Stadium in Olean New York, Portland Oregon's Civic Stadium, Greensboro North Carolina's War Memorial Stadium and Johnstown's Point Stadium. There were quite a few ballparks commissioned during the mid-1980's but it
  was before the boom of making retro and ornate ballparks (this tremendous change in architecture came from the creation of Oriole Park @ Camden Yards in 1988). During this period ballparks were still made of either aluminum or out of concrete in relatively simple fashion. Not that there is anything on this planet that looks like Joe Davis Stadium this is definitely one of a kind.
