The Hollywood Stars would return in 1938, but this was a different franchise altogether then the one that had moved to San Diego. (Much the same way that the 1962 Washington Senators had nothing to do with the 1961 Senators that had moved to Minnesota). They would only play the one season however before moving to Gilmore Stadium in Hollywood in 1939, and then their new Gilmore Field built just for them, later that season. The Angels meanwhile would continue to play at Wrigley Field as the top members of the Chicago Cubs organization for 25 years, from 1931 until 1956.
