Eastman Park as you can see in these very rare photographs, was a simple uncovered grandstand broken into several sections. These were most likely bleacher type seating. After World War II came to an end, St. Cloud was awarded a Minor League franchise for the 1946 season as part of the Northern League's 2 city shift. The Rox took over the Wausau Timberjacks franchise, which had been playing at Athletic Park. The Rox had no problem making the most of their new temporary Eastman Park. The Rox surged ahead right away and by June they were in 1st place.
