In their last 3 seasons from 1958-1960, the Fargo-Moorhead Twins signed a PDC with the New York Yankees, bringing even more talent to Fargo. The Yankees era brought Joe Pepitone who hit 35 doubles, 12 triples, 14 homers and 87 RBI with his .283 batting avg. 2B Horace Clarke came in 1960 and hit .307 on his way to a 10 year Yankee career. When the ballpark was torn down in 1963 to make room for a high school, it took with it the incredible history of Barnett Field... the former Minor League home of Roger Maris.
