Kansas City Kansas
The first game wasn't able to be played here until June 3rd 2003... a 9 inning nail biter that ended with Sioux City just edging out the T-Bones by a score of 1-0. Despite the loss, fans were enamored with their new ballpark and promised to show their support throughout the year. That support would be quickly noted when time came to purchase season tickets for the T-Bones first full season of 2004. As for the rest of 2003, the T-Bones played close to .500 ball for the season. During the 1st half, they finished 5 games under the median but by the 2nd half, they were 2 games over... finishing the 2nd half in 2nd place and bringing a bit of respect to the new ballclub. Of course, much of that respect could be contributed to one particular player... Kansas City's newest and greatest all-star, Eddie Pearson.
