Midway Stadium II was built in 1982 to replace Midway Stadium I. Midway I was located
close to a mile away from this ballpark and held 9,000 fans. It was built
to attract a Major League team in 1957. The only thing it attracted was a Northern
League affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Midway I was demolished in 1981. |
