On August 23rd 2005, the Beatles decended on Shea Stadium turning the venue upside down. The concert would go down in history as one of the greatest performances in Rock and Roll. Many feel that out of all of the Beatles' showcases, Shea Stadium was their best and wildest concert performance. The stage was set up on 2nd base. There was no on-field seating, due to the fact that the Beatles popularity was near riotous. Letting people close to the band could turn ugly fast, into an extremely dangerous situation.
