If Shea Stadium was turned just 90 degrees, it would have had some incredible water views. At the time however, views and scenery simply weren't all that important in the 1960's. One thing many people may not realize about Shea stadium is that Diamondvision wasn't the first time that Shea Stadium showed television styled graphics.
