The Longest Homerun ever hit at RFK Stadium was 500 feet, by Frank Howard on April 25th 1970. The ball landed in the mid-upper deck of the leftcenter field stands... close to where this photo was taken from. Howard would go on to slug 44 homeruns that season for the Senators, 4 short of the whopping 48 he had hit the season before.
