Miller Park replaces venerable County Stadium which was responsible for bringing Hank Aaron and the Braves to Milwaukee after serving since 1914 at Boston's Braves Field as well as bringing in the Milwaukee Brewers from Seattle where they had played as the Seattle Pilot's at Sick's Stadium. County Stadium had its best seasons early on when Hank Aaron's Milwaukee Braves became the first National League team to break the 2 million mark and then broke that mark 4 times in a row. The Brewers however, barely shared any of the Braves' success, only once breaking the 2 million mark in their entire history at County Stadium (2.39 million fans in 1983). (The Chicago White Sox were nearly the Milwaukee White Sox as they played parts of 2 seasons at County Stadium and made official plans to move to Milwaukee. More on that on the County Stadium gallery).
