When people think of Williamsport Pennsylvania, many times their first thought is of Lamade Stadium and the Little League World Series. Lamade is certainly a classic facility, but it's not the only historical ballpark in town. Bowman Field is one of the best examples of why it is better to renovate than destroy and build anew. Approaching 100 years old in this upcoming decade, Bowman Field is in many ways just beginning to really thrive. No doubt now being home to an annual "regular season" Major League game, Historic Bowman Field is now firmly in the spotlight where it has always belonged.
