You'll find few cities in North America with a richer baseball history than Vancouver British Columbia. It has served on and off throughout the years as an affiliated Minor League, dating all the way back to 1905 at old Recreation Park. Athletic Field and Con Jones Park served on and off as homes for the Single-A Northwest League (known in the earlier part of the century as the Western International League) on and off for 50 years before giving way in 1953 to Nat Bailey Stadium (aka Capilano Stadium II)... the main source for professional baseball in Vancouver Canada (including up until today).
