Loggers & Gulls
Aberdeen is a port town that has for over a century, supported the logging industry and fishing industry of Western Washington state. This part of the planet looks a little different then other parts of the United States including Washington state itself. This is a city that has made its living from the sea in one form or another and you can feel the history everywhere around you. Aberdeen is well known for being a working man's blue collar town and it's "gray" harbor and often cloudy mist filled skies were what gave inspiration to a well known Seattle musician. This was the hometown of Nirvana's Curt Cobain, and he references his old Aberdeen haunts in quite a few of the band's songs.
