Former home of the Gray's Harbor Ports
Loggers & Gulls
Despite serving both amateur baseball and football for decades, it wasn't until the late 1970s that professional baseball first came to Olympic Stadium, and by then homeplate was moved to its new location, where it still exists today. Before that it was located where the Right Field foul pole is, (which actually made more sense considering there was more seating around the diamond, and a better view of the mountains rising up behind the stadium). The homeplate area has almost no seating down the 3rd baseline but certainly quite a lot in the outfield.
