Since the Ports were playing without the umbrella of a Major League ballclub, their talent was on the lower end of the spectrum... at least the batting averages were. The ERA's on the other hand... were on the very high side of the spectrum. There were a few decent pitchers however. Barry Biggerstaff supported a 9-7, 3.44 ERA record while the team's #2, Steven Bushong, posted a nearly identical 3.45 ERA and a 7-5 record. Together, these two kept this team from having a win-loss percentage in the .200 range, as the team would finish at 26-46 (.361). As for the rest of the staff... Brian Peterson would go 2-9 while Gary Wasson went 3-8.
