The rotation featured former Chicago Cubs' Les Lancaster who went 1-1 with a 3.46 ERA in 4 games as well as a return of Christopher Kotes (5-4, 4.15), Darrel Goedhart (5-3, 4.50) and reliever Brian Martineau (7-1, 4.18). The Gulls continued their ascent northwards as they finished the season in 2nd place with an impressive 49-41 (.544) record. As the team got better and better, attendance got worse and worse. Cracks began appearing in the foundations of the front office as the Gulls were having troubles staying afloat.
