Bob Brown meanwhile, had done a fine job of running his Vancouver Athletics baseball team as they remained a major part of the Northwestern, Pacific Coast and Western International Leagues from the day he bought the team in 1910 until 1922. The Vancouver Athletics were always a profitable venture at Athletic Park and while Bob Brown did his best to oversee his team and make sure they were successful enough to sustain themselves… there were other factors that would come to undermine his ballclub that he simply could not control.
