The Pacific National League folded after 1904, leaving Butte without a league to play in. The joined the Class B Northwestern League in 1906 and played there for 3 years. During this time, a fire caused some major damage to Columbia Gardens, and much of the ballpark had to be rebuilt. This is what it looked like after the reconstruction in 1907. Butte dropped out of the league after the 1908 season. The Miners would join a new league that was more local with less traveling, but at a much lower class... when they joined the Class D Union Association in 1911.
