Siebert Field is a rather historical ballpark which has been home to NCAA Division I Golden Gophers of the University of Minnesota, since it opened in 1971. It had also been known by the name of Bierman Field from 1971-1978. The ballpark sits in an athletic complex housing several different types of athletic fields and stadiums for the university's track and field and tennis and even earlier football (they've since moved into some fancier digs… the TCF Bank Stadium… an 80,000 seat football stadium debuting in 2009.
