We've seen this type of "industry based ballpark" before... down south when the textile mills and the tobacco companies would try to out-do their competition in the quality and beauty of their ballparks. The best standing example of this is probably up north in Akron Ohio where the stunning Firestone Stadium was built in 1931 and is still being utilized today by the professional NPF softball league and their famed Akron Racers. Because these stadia are not built specifically for professional baseball, they sometimes will last much longer than ballparks built specifically for Minor League use.
