The Pirates put a Single-A team in State College and the Reds moved their Single-A franchise to Dayton… and in 2003 the Cleveland Indians moved their South Atlantic League team out of Columbus Georgia’s Golden Park and sent them 818 miles north to a brand new ballpark in Eastlake Ohio named Classic Park… just 18 miles away from the Indians’ Progressive Field (aka Jacobs Field).
