2010 promises to bring some tremendous excitement to the city of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Semi-pro style baseball is back in the way of the Collegiate Summer League famously known as the "Northwoods League". The Northwoods League has taken over more than a dozen former Minor League ballparks that had been dormant for decades and turned them back into thriving semi-pro stadiums with legions of fans so strong that the nearby Midwest League (who abandoned most of these ballfields) has become green with envy. Before we look towards the new future of Witter Field, we take a look back at this ballpark's tremendous 25 year history in Minor League Baseball.
