After World War II, many of the local ballparks of the Kansas / Missouri / Oklahoma border got together to create a league known today as the KOM League. This storied league was filled with quaint little ballparks, each one more picturesque then the last... and almost all of which are still standing today. Pittsburg owned one of those little ballparks... as you can see it was the smallest in the league. When it opened, it was named "Pittsburg Ball Park", (not the most creative name that we've heard) and according to Gord Brown it sat only 1200.
