Victory Field was part of a much bigger project designed to re-invent the downtown
Indianapolis area and hopefully bring a tremendous growth spurt and perhaps a
newly established "hot spot" for the people of Indianapolis. Via stylish and trendy
restaurants and taverns the city of Indianapolis hoped to create the new
"hip" place-to-be in much the same vein as Denver had done with their "Lo-Do" district
which realized a tremendous real estate boom with the building of Coors
Field. |
