Several Triple-A Ballparks were utilized as well as little "Dwyer Stadium II" in Batavia… a tiny Short Season Single-A ball… one step above Rookie Leagues was now hosting Triple-A Baseball. With the team on the road for an entire season, the Scranton Wilkes Barre Yankees changed their name for the 2012 season to the Empire State Yankees. Batavia, the Empire State Yankees also utilized Alliance Bank Stadium in Syracuse New York (as the home team when they played Triple-A Syracuse), Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, Coca-Cola Park in Allentown Pennsylvania and McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket Rhode Island…. All of which were also only used against playing the Triple-A teams that they would have otherwise played at PNC Field.
