The massive double- decked grandstand just ends abruptly on each side. You can tell by looking at it, that this is an uncompleted project, much like the Mets' former Shea Stadium in New York. If you can picture it, this grandstand cuts the same way Shea did. That's because Shea was meant to be a full circle (and domed as well), but that never happened. Same thing here in Ft. Mill. This was meant to be completed if a Major League team ever did take up the invitation, but they never did. Again... we're in Ft. Mill S.C. and not Charlotte N.C., and there is no doubt that this was a major reason why this remained a Minor League stadium.
