Little Grant Field was originally built in 1934 as a WPA project and while it wasn't utilized as a Major League Spring Training facility until 1977, it was used as a Spring Training home for such teams as the Texas League's San Antonio Missions and the American Association's Buffalo Bisons. Surprisingly, despite the Minor League usage... it was never utilized as a Minor League park either until the Blue Jays made this their full time home when they were born in 1977.
