Built in 2000, Taylor Stadium has seen its fair share of baseball in the past decade, both on the professional and collegiate circuits. Taylor Stadium was built for the University of Missouri's "Mizzou Tigers" and has diligently served that main purpose since it opened. It also however served as a home for the Independent Frontier League's Mid-Missouri Mavericks who utilized Taylor Stadium for 3 years from 2003-2005. In that time, the team seemed to zone in quickly to a place
    that seemed for them to be, most comfortable... last place. In all 3 seasons, the Mid-Missouri Mavericks finished 6th in the 6 team Western Division of the Frontier League.
