River City Rascals
Ryan Bauer was the star of the team going 9-3 with a 2.15 ERA. Joey Pipes returned and was again fantastic going 9-3 with a 3.17 ERA and Randy Eversgerd was 5-2 with a 3.62 ERA. The bullpen was strong as well as Ryan Warnecke's ERA hovered around 2.19 and closer Matt Skyles saved 12 games with his 2.73 ERA. The Rascals finished with a 46-36 (.561) record and found themselves in the playoffs for the first time... the excitement ended quickly however as they were swept by the Evansville Otters in the 1st round. Attendance jumped 7000 as the Rascals finished with a 157,000 through the gate... another new record for the Frontier League.
