Ozark is itself, a rather small town with a population of only about 18,000 people. It is known far more for its "Throwed Rolls" than its "throwed pitches". (The famed restaurant "Lambert's ... Home of the Throwed Rolls" (yes we know that's not proper English), has been featured on the Food and Travel Channels for its country style dinner and warm rolls that are literally "winged" at your head. If you can't catch a flying hot "throwed" roll, then you just don't get to eat one). Ozark's small population would make it one of the smallest markets for pro baseball seen in years if you don't count the 150,000 sitting just north in Springfield. The hope was to pull fans from nearby metro-area, which was a former hot bed of professional baseball in the pre-war era.
