Unfortunately, the Redcoats didn't seem to be much of a success. For the 2006 season,
it was announced that the Redcoats would simply dissolve, rather then play
here again. This may have been Loeb Stadium's last chance at professional baseball.
In all, Loeb Stadium has seen 9 seasons of professional play, 3 of which
as an affiliate of the Red Sox and Indians. Today, Loeb Stadium continues to host
tournaments and league championship games such as the Colt World Series. |
