With a great base to build on, the Lafayette Leopards of the Heartland League quickly
took over in the standings. By season's end, they would wind up as Champions
of the 1996 Heartland League. This was the Leopards 3rd championship in a row,
and this time for a league that was moderately successful. Still... it was an
honor that to this day, no one remembers. |
