How well the Scouts did in 1993, is a matter of who you compare them to. The team drew 6,436 fans for the season. (Some professional independent, and even some collegiate summer league teams, do this in a single game). However, if you compare them to some of the other teams in the inaugural Frontier League, they did very well! Neither the Tri-State Tomahawks or the West Virginia Coal Sox broke 1,000 fans at the gate total. As a matter of fact, they didn't even make it out of their first month before they folded.
