Frontier League (Independent) |
One of the very first independent leagues during the "indy movement" of the early
90's is the Frontier League. Begun in 1993 by Bill Lee (no not the spaceman)...
the Frontier League played in little towns across eastern mid-America (the Frontier?).
When we realize how many of these leagues never made it to their 2nd
year, its amazing that Bill Lee's league not only still exists today but is one
of the most successful ever. They've also won Ballpark of the Year twice!!! To
