It would indeed be the last team to call Bobby Maduro Stadium home... as it would meet the wrecking ball in 2001. Murray and Buffet tried Hialeah Florida for the 1989 season and played in FIU's Sunblazer Field. After that proved futile, Mike Veeck bought the team and moved it here to Pompano Municipal Stadium, where the team continued to play as the Miami Miracle. Mike Lansing led the team through two dismal seasons here batting .242 in 1990 and .286 in 1991. When Fort Myers built a new baseball stadium for the Twins, they were seeking an unaffiliated FSL team to move in that the Twins could eventually take over. The Miracle were saved, and moved to Ft. Myers in 1992.
