The evidentiality of a Major League strike, turned many fans off to Major League baseball in the early 90's. It also turned many on to Minor League Baseball. When the "show" that must go on, wasn't... the minors continued play. Baseball fans fell in love with the hustle they used to see on the Major League diamond. While MLB would suffer for a few years to come, the Minor Leagues saw a resurgance it hadn't seen since the end of WWII.
