In the field, Catcher Dewey Waugh batted .347, First Baseman Stan Miasek hit .304, 3rd baseman Stan Benjamin hit .312 with 32 stolen bases, Outfielder Lou Percey hit .360 and John Vatza hit .308. While all of this talent wouldn't put get them 1st place (would beat them in the standings, as they finished with an incredible .719 winning percentage), the Cement Dusters would still put together a great 78-40 (.661) record which landed them in 2nd.
