Baseball City Florida was a very nice ballpark just outside of Orlando but which ultimately failed to live up to its potential. Baseball City was more than just a ballpark… it was a all out baseball theme park (ala it's neighboring Disney) with the hopes to bring baseball and amusements together with rides and shows related to baseball and the Kansas City Royals. Baseball City Stadium itself was quite an attractive facility in its own right, but In the end... the rides and theme park attractions didn't draw any new fans to the ballpark except for the fans who would have come to see the Royals play anyway. In the end, the rides and theme park were demolished and Baseball City just became a stadium for the K.C. Royals... one that was a constant reminder of an experiment that financially, had gone horribly wrong.
