Built in 1994, Peoria Sports Complex was one of the first in the massive building (and "re-building") of every one of the Spring Training baseball stadiums in Arizona. Today it is the 3rd eldest baseball stadium in the state behind the Angels' classic Tempe Diablo Stadium (1969) and the Giants' Scottsdale Stadium (rebuilt in 1992). 1994 may not sound like an "old baseball stadium" but there are ballparks like "Tucson Electric Park aka Kino Park" that are 4 years younger (1998) than Peoria Sports Complex which have already been taken out of service over a decade ago (last serving as a MLB Spring Training park in 2010).
