The ballpark has gone through many name changes throughout the years, starting out as Dale County stadium in 1946, then switching to Memorial Stadium in 1948, Marley Stadium in 1951, back to Memorial Stadium in 1952 and finally Eagle Stadium in 1953 and has taken on a pseudo-name of Buddy Williams Field as well. If you're confused, that's okay; just realize that since 1946, all professional and semi-pro ball in Ozark has been played right here.
