Thomas Run Park

Former Home of the
Aberdeen Arsenal
In 2002, the Atlantic League placed the Aberdeen Arsenal at this tiny ballpark. The grandstand that you see here, was temporarily expanded for the massive crowds that never showed up. Down each line past the dugouts was actually some decent sized aluminum bleachers with actual seating (dark green stadium seats) and not just bench configuration. According to Charlie Zeb (who has photos of exactly what it looked like when pro ball was here ( ticket prices and concession prices were high for a stadium of this quality ($12-$8), and attendance remained quite low as a result.
